Ontario Library Super Conference Recap

Posted by Rachel Thompson on

We had the pleasure of presenting at the Ontario Library Super Conference on Friday, February 1. Our session Reading Beyond Dementia set to educate libraries and their staff on how to become dementia-friendly through resources, programming, and books. We were overjoyed by the turnout and the public's response to shift towards becoming more inclusive and welcoming for individuals living with dementia and their families.

Our session featured why becoming dementia-friendly is important, resources to support libraries throughout their journey, and staff training to support education. If you were unable to attend our session in person, we've uploaded our slides here.

We're committed to assisting libraries in becoming dementia-friendly. We offer a specific library starter pack full of resources, books, and support to get you up and running. Check out our resources tab for free monthly downloads to offer in the library.

We are happy to work with your library on getting started, and can process invoices. We also work with many library distributors such at LSC, White Hots, and Library Bound.

Happy Reading!
